Trucking Companies Sought to Aid Victims of Tornado Disaster

Trucking companies with trailers to donate and a desire to help are being sought by Feed the Children to assist in the aftermath of the devastating tornadoes that ripped through Oklahoma and Kansas in the first week of May.

The storms began May 3 and their 260 mile per hour winds destroyed hundreds of homes and caused 11 counties in Oklahoma to be declared disaster areas.

Feed the Children, a charity group based in Oklahoma, is in need of refrigerated tractor-trailers to deliver donated items. The group is seeking companies willing to donate trucks, trailers or transportation service.

Interested companies should contact Wendy at 405-945-4136.
