In Pryor, OK, prosecutors have issued a warrant for the man they believe dropped a 110-pound tombstone off an overpass on the Cherokee Turnpike, severely injuring a truck driver.
The Associated Press reported that Jeremy McGirt had already allegedly confessed that he was drunk when he shoved the tombstone over an overpass railing on June 12.
The tombstone went through the windshield of a tractor-trailer driven by Gerald Richard Webb, 66 – putting him in a coma for two days and causing multiple injuries.
According to The AP, McGirt could face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison or a $10,000 fine if convicted of the felony count.
