OOIDA urges Pennsylvania truckers to speak up now on turnpike lease

A committee of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives has scheduled a public hearing next week on a bill that would allow the governor to lease the state’s turnpike to private investors – but only invited guests will be allowed to testify.

To make sure that truckers’ concerns are not overlooked, the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association issued a Call to Action on Friday, June 20, encouraging truckers and their families and friends to write and e-mail the committee.
