A man from Somalia pleaded guilty to fraud charges Wednesday, Oct. 31, in connection with a bogus CDL operation in West Plains, MO.
According to The Kansas City Star, Abdiwahab Mohamed is the first person to enter a plea in the case, which involves 15 defendants.
Prosecutors say Mohamed got his CDL at the South Central Career Center truck driving school after driving a semi for about 10 minutes.
He then steered other Somali and Bosnian nationals to the school, The Star reported.
