Toll road advocates from the government and the private sector are busy spreading their message.

According to the Los Angeles Times, U.S. Department of Transportation official Tyler Duvall was just in Los Angeles, urging traffic planners to use toll lanes and congestion pricing to reduce congestion.

Meanwhile, former U.S. Rep. Dick Gephardt – who now works for Goldman Sachs – was in Nevada. Gephardt urged lawmakers there to consider adding toll lanes to Interstate 15. That move would require a change in the state law that prohibits toll highways.
