Truckers who get an oil change in Maine are now required to fork over an extra $3 to help clean up some old, contaminated waste oil sites.

Four-wheelers are charged an extra dollar on their oil changes.

According to Lube Report, the state just started charging the fees Oct. 1, even though the state’s waste oil operations were shut down in 1980.
