Michelin Tires has filed a lawsuit against a Chinese manufacturing group that it says is exporting look-alike tires to the U.S.

According to a press release, some tires under the Double Coin and DynaTrac brand names are knockoffs of a patented Michelin brand.

Michelin officials claim that while the alleged knock-offs have a tread pattern identical to their tires, the imports may not deliver the same traction or durability.
