Former trucker may own Pollock painting
If you saw “60 Minutes” on Sunday, May 6, you saw the story of 74-year-old Teri Horton.
Horton is the former trucker who paid $5 for a painting in a San Bernardino, CA, thrift shop that may be a work by world-renowned artist Jackson Pollock – and may be worth millions of dollars.
Pollock’s paintings look like someone simply threw different colors of paint onto a canvas, which is actually what he did.
Some art experts dismiss her painting as a worthless fake. But others think it’s the real deal, and she reportedly already received an offer of $9 million for the piece.
