More than 500 truckers filled a huge room Saturday morning in Louisville as the winners of the 7th Annual Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Show were announced. The show was in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show at the Kentucky Fairgrounds & Expo Center on March 24.

Again this year, the show included the Big Rig Build Off. The winner was Jim Raines, S&J Truck Sales, Fort Wayne, IN. The challengers were Jeff Botelho, Custom Image Motors, Los Banos, CA; Phil Langevin, Valley Custom Truck, Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada; Clint Moore, Kansas City Peterbilt, Kansas City, MO; and Steve Van Zytveld, Ridin' High Inc., Grand Rapids, MI.

One of the warmest moments of the awards ceremony was some special recognition for Ron and Jan Huey, Greenburg, IN. They received the Diesel Dave (Sweetman) "Pick of the Litter" Award for the way they enhance the image of trucking and serve as mentors and inspiration for others.

And now, here's the big winners. With more than 30 classes - including Engines and Interiors, Non-Working Antiques and New Trucks, Working Trucks and Limited Mileage, Bobtails and Combos - there was plenty of "bling" being spread around. Here's how it played out.
