Drivers in Orlando, FL - who did a double-take at Christmastime when they saw Santa's elf with a radar gun - were caught off guard again Thursday when a leprechaun stood at the side of the road checking their speed.

The leprechaun was actually an Orange County Sheriff's deputy who held up a sign saying, "Watch your speed or it will cost you your pot of gold."

According to The Associated Press, the sheriff's office may have also made a pot of gold - the happy leprechaun was tagging speeders at the rate of about one per minute.
