In the small town of Carey, OH – located southeast of Finley – a dump truck driver is being credited with rescuing two girls from a burning apartment building.

The Toledo Blade reports that witnesses say the two girls were hanging out of a second-story window and screaming.

That’s when the trucker drove his dump truck right up to the building and stood on the roof of his cab to help the girls down.

A neighbor told reporters the trucker left before anyone could ask him his name.
