‘Potter’ taxes trucking industry worldwide

The Harry Potter phenomenon is being felt by the trucking industry worldwide.

The book, titled “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” is the last in the seven-part series, and goes on sale in the U.S. at midnight Friday night, July 20.

Here in the states, trucks delivered tons of the books to stores around the country.

In Britain, the Royal Mail Service didn’t have enough trucks in its fleet to meet demand, and had to add 180 extra lorries to deliver 600,000 books on Saturday.
