Turnpike workers charged with toll thefts

Three Florida Turnpike toll collectors have been arrested for collecting some tolls of their own.

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the workers have been charged with stealing toll money collected from drivers on the Florida Turnpike.

Shaun Baugh, a supervisor at the Hollywood Boulevard station, is accused of stealing more than $7,400 dollars in toll money.

Richard Pierre, a collector at the main plaza north of Commercial Boulevard, is charged with stealing more than $5,100 dollars.

And Todd Zislin, a collector at the Sunrise Boulevard station, is accused of stealing $7,042 in tolls.

The three employees never worked together, and authorities say the thefts were not connected.
