EPA says all OEMs have passed new emissions tests

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says all of the major heavy-duty truck manufacturers have passed the test in terms of the new 2007 emission standards.

According to an EPA press release, the new trucks are 90 percent cleaner than the previous generation, and will eventually reduce harmful emissions by nearly 3 million tons per year.
