Oil prices continue to sink during the early part of this week, despite talk of a possible cut in production by OPEC.

At midday Tuesday, crude oil futures were trading at $51.45 a barrel in New York - down $1.50 from the opening. The Associated Press reported it has been 19 months since oil was trading so low.
