In case you hadn't heard, Tuesday is National Pancake Day.

To celebrate the second annual event, the International House of Pancakes is giving out free short stacks - that's three pancakes - at its more than 1,300 locations nationwide.

The free cakes are available from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday night, regardless which time zone you're traveling through.

The pancakes may be free, but IHOP is inviting customers to make a donation to the Children's Miracle Network, which will benefit 170 hospital locations nationwide.
