A Texas man has been ordered to stand trial in the death of a truck driver in Oklahoma this past March.

The Associated Press reports that Clint Edward Baker of Crockett, TX, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of truck driver Todd Eugene Rich.

Rich, who lived in Thousand Oaks, CA, was found in a rural area near McAlester, OK, in March. Police say he was beaten and his throat was slashed.

Baker was arrested in Wyoming and fought extradition. He is now in the Pittsburg County Jail in Oklahoma.
