The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance is calling this week Brake Safety Week – and that means inspectors will have a special eye out for brake problems.

According to a CVSA news release, out of the more than 3 million roadside inspections conducted in North America each year, 56 percent of the out-of-service violations found involve brakes.

Brake Safety Week continues through Sunday, Sept. 1.
