A truck driver and his passenger are in jail after border agents in Falfurrias, TX, found 50 illegal immigrants inside the locked trailer in 90-degree-plus heat on Wednesday, Aug. 8.

KGBT-TV reported none of the immigrants required medical treatment and that all of them are being processed for deportation.

In 2003, 19 illegal immigrants died after being left inside an overheated trailer that was abandoned in Victoria, TX.

The driver of that truck, Tyrone Williams, is now serving a life sentence.
