The Dallas-based company that markets Willie Nelson’s “BioWillie” brand of biodiesel may be facing financial difficulties.

According to The Kansas City Star, Earth Biofuels Inc. has delayed filing its financial information with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission following an auditor’s review.

The company’s stock closed at 41 cents a share on Wednesday – down more than 90 percent since May 2006.

Forbes recently published an article claiming the company is running short on cash.
