Vancouver ports finally unclogged

A big backlog of container cargo that had clogged up the port system in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has been all but eliminated, according to Canadian media reports.

Port officials said the supply of rail cars is back to normal following a shortage caused by severe winter weather, and that one terminal that had a backlog of 7,000 containers in January is now down to about 2,400.
