Pennsylvania plans to have a private contractor do an extreme makeover on its turnpike service plazas.

The Associated Press reported that the state will receive $100 million up front from the contractor, HMS Host Corp.

For its part, Host will spend billions renovating or rebuilding 18 of the state’s 21 service plazas and get a 30-year lease on the properties – which should allow it to come out with a healthy profit, according to The AP.
