Willie Nelson gets new biodiesel plant up and running near Dallas

Country music singer Willie Nelson has partnered with Pacific Biodiesel to begin production of biodiesel this week at a new plant south of Dallas.

Pacific Biodiesel Texas , a subsidiary of the parent company in Hawaii , intends to produce 8,000 gallons of biodiesel per day from cottonseed oil grown within a short radius of the plant, the Pacific Business News reported.

The fuel will be sold exclusively through nearby Carl’s Corner Truck Stop, a popular stop in the Dallas area.
