A trucker who tried to be a good Samaritan in West Virginia is recovering from a wound in the back after the stranded motorist he stopped to help shot and robbed him.
According to the Huntington Herald-Dispatch, the incident happened early Sunday morning on Interstate 64 just west of Huntington, WV.
The trucker, 49-year-old Randy Jay Tomblin of Flatwoods, KY, was treated at a hospital and released.
Police are looking for a black Ford Taurus with Michigan plates.
