October ended with both diesel fuel and oil prices remaining stable.

According to ProMiles on Friday, Nov. 3, diesel was at a national average of $2.53 a gallon - down one penny from the beginning of the week.

Crude oil was trading at a little over $58 a gallon in New York Friday morning, within a dollar of where it's been for more than a week.
