Woman says Tyrone Williams was 'indifferent' to trailer deaths

A woman who rode in the cab of Tyrone Williams' truck while illegal immigrants were dying in the trailer was scheduled to testify against Williams today at his re-trial in Houston, TX.

The Houston Chronicle reported that in Williams' first trial, Fatima Holloway supported the prosecution's contention that Williams was indifferent to the suffering of the immigrants he was smuggling into the U.S.

Nineteen of the approximately 100 people crammed into the trailer died from suffocation or dehydration.

Holloway was riding along with Williams allegedly because a drug dealer had given her money to take to Texas to make a drug buy, the Chronicle reported.
