Crude oil prices have fallen to their lowest level for the year, with futures trading at below $58 a barrel in New York Thursday.

The low levels arrived amidst conflicting reports as to whether OPEC nations will cut back their oil production.

Meanwhile, ProMiles shows diesel fuel averaging $2.53 a gallon across the country – unchanged from Wednesday.
