In Houston, the prosecution has rested in the re-trial of former trucker Tyrone Williams.
Williams faces a possible death sentence in the deaths of 19 illegal immigrants who were reportedly abandoned in the overheated trailer of his truck during a smuggling operation in 2003.
He was convicted on 38 transporting counts in his first trial but avoided the death penalty because the jury couldn't decide how big a role he played in the overall operation.
An appeals court later rejected the jury's verdict.
