If you haul on Interstate 5 in northern California, you might want to find a different route next week.

Caltrans, the state's transportation department, is warning motorists that there will be long delays at the Pit River Bridge north of Redding, CA, next week for construction.

A Caltrans press release said the delays will start on Wednesday and get progressively worse through Sunday, Nov. 26, with southbound delays on Sunday of up to two hours and traffic backed up as much as 18 miles.
