A strike by more than 12,000 Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. union employees may be ending.

According to The Associated Press, the company and the United Steelworkers (USW) have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract.

The contract includes a special fund to assure medical and prescription drug benefits, as well as, an assurance that a plant in Tyler, TX, will remain open for at least one more year, The AP reported.
