Michigan police establish road rage Web site

The Michigan State Police has established a Web site where people can report aggressive driving and road rage.

The site, michigan.gov/roadrage, allows motorists to leave the date, time, location and a description of any road rage incidents they witness.

Sgt. Steve Spink told “Land Line Now” the reports won’t be used to track down offenders. Instead, he said police will build a database of problem areas, which well then be used to determine if speed limits or highway construction projects are causing aggressive driving.

Spink said similar online reporting systems are already in use in several other states.
