ProMiles reported a national average of $2.765 per gallon on Friday, Nov. 4, down more than 3 cents from the day before.

In spite of a 4.7-cent drop, Idaho still had the highest average in the country, at $3.113 per gallon. Oklahoma had the lowest average, at $2.504 per gallon.

Meanwhile, AAA reported a national average of $2.976 per gallon on Nov. 4, down almost 6 cents from the previous day.

The lowest average found by AAA was $2.722 per gallon in New Jersey . The highest was $3.256 in Illinois .

Flying J’s lowest reported price was $2.299 per gallon in Carmel Church , VA. The chain was also still reporting low supplies in Arkansas , Mississippi and Missouri . It also reported low supplies at two stations in California – on in Barstow and one in Ripon.

Love’s lowest reported price was $2.319 per gallon in Skippers, VA, while Petro reported a low of $2.359 in McCalla , AR.

Pilot reported $2.379 per gallon in Carney’s Point, NJ, and Travel Centers of America reported a low of $2.379 per gallon in Troutdale , OR .

Travel Centers of America was also limiting diesel purchases to 50 gallons at its stop in Slidell , LA , on Nov. 4.
