Prices for diesel continued their decline Tuesday, Nov. 1.

ProMiles reported a national average of 2.864, down from 2.897 the previous day.

The highest prices were found in Idaho at an average of $3.155 per gallon, while the lowest prices were found in Virginia , at an average of $2.616 per gallon, according to ProMiles.

Meanwhile, AAA reported a national average of $3.051 per gallon, down 4 cents from the previous day. The association reported a low of $2.788 per gallon in Alaska and a high of $3.376 per gallon in Illinois .

Flying J was reporting low supplies at stations in Texas , Mississippi , Missouri and Arkansas . The retailer also reported being completely out of fuel at one station in Grand Ledge, MI.

Travel Centers of America reported no shortages or rationing, but was still dispensing red-dyed diesel at two locations – Brunswick , GA , and Slidell , LA.
