A trucker was found dead in the sleeper-berth of his truck, which was parked near Interstate 20 in Hutchins, TX.

Eddie Montgomery, a 48-year-old driver from Laredo, was found Friday, Oct. 27. His truck had been parked along the side of the Interstate since the day before.

The Dallas Morning News reported that the cause of Montgomery’s death had not yet been determined.

“Right now, we’re calling it questionable,” said David Landers, assistant police chief of Hutchins.

Montgomery was hauling carpet for DTA Transport & Logistics from South Carolina to South Texas.

A sheriff’s deputy found him Friday morning.
