A truck driver whose rig was hit by a Metrolink commuter train in Glendale, CA, was cited by police for failure to yield and no proof of insurance.
The Los Angeles Daily News reported that Vihik Grigori, 35, backed his truck onto the rail tracks while attempting a three-point turn. His trailer got stuck on the tracks and was struck by the train.
Three vehicles were struck with debris from the wreck, and four train passengers suffered minor injuries. A driver from one of the other vehicles had minor injuries.
