Motorists in Hallandale Beach, near Miami, got a special treat Wednesday, Oct. 5. One gas station there was selling gas for 33 cents per gallon.
The treat was short-lived, however. It turns out the manager of the station meant to enter the price for premium-grade gasoline at $3.29 per gallon, but accidentally entered .329 instead.
According to WPLG-TV, a local station, nobody reported the mistake. It wasn’t until a reporter from WPLG showed up that the manager realized the error and fixed the price.
