The price of diesel continued its downward trend Wednesday, Nov. 23, though prices could rise again heading into the holiday weekend.
ProMiles reported a national average of $2.523 per gallon, down less than a penny from the previous day. Several states reported slight increases in prices, including Washington, Wyoming, Vermont, Michigan, Kentucky and California.
ProMiles reported a low of $2.295 per gallon in Oklahoma, and a high of $2.787 per gallon in Idaho. Both of those prices were down from the previous day.
Meanwhile, AAA reported a national average of $2.656 per gallon Nov. 23 falling less than a penny from the previous day.
The AAA report showed a low of $2.382 per gallon in Oklahoma and a high of $2.921 per gallon in Idaho. Both of those prices are down from the previous day.
As for retailers, Flying J was still reporting low supplies in Mississippi, Florida and Missouri Nov. 23.
Flying J reported a low price of $2.189 per gallon at stations in Oklahoma City and Edmond, OK.
Love’s was reporting a low of $2.209 per gallon also in Oklahoma City.
Pilot reported a low price of $2.229 per gallon in Oklahoma City for the second day in a row.
For the second day in a row, Petro was reporting a low price of $2.239 per gallon in McCalla, AL; Jackson, MS; and Knoxville, TN.
Travel Centers of America also reported a low of $2.239 per gallon in Knoxville as well as in Meridian, MS, for the second day in a row.
