Prices for diesel continued to drop in most areas Tuesday, Nov. 22.

ProMiles reported a national average of $2.53 per gallon, down less than a penny from the previous day. A low of $2.296 per gallon was found in Oklahoma and a high of $2.804 per gallon was reported in Idaho . Both of those prices were down from the previous day, ProMiles reported.

Meanwhile, AAA reported a national average of $2.664 per gallon Nov. 22, down 1.4 cents from the previous day and down more than 6 cents from the previous week.

The AAA report showed a low of $2.388 per gallon of diesel in Oklahoma and a high of $2.931 per gallon in Idaho . Both of those prices are more than 5 cents lower than the previous week.

At the retailer level, Flying J was still reporting low supplies in Florida , Mississippi and Missouri on Nov. 22. Flying J reported a low price of $2.199 per gallon at stations in Fort Chiswell , VA , and Wytheville , VA.

Love’s was reporting a low of $2.219 per gallon of diesel at two stations, one in Waco , GA , and the other in Wytheville , VA.

Petro was reporting a low price of $2.239 per gallon of diesel in McCalla , AL ; Jackson , MS ; and Knoxville , TN.

Travel Centers of America also reported a low of $2.239 per gallon in Knoxville as well as in Meridian , MS .

Pilot reported a low price of $2.229 per gallon in Oklahoma City.
