Diesel prices continued to come down from their dizzying heights of this past summer Thursday, Nov. 17.

ProMiles reported a national average of $2.582 per gallon, down more than a penny from the previous day. Only Oregon reported a slight increase in prices. Massachusetts and Louisiana reported no change overnight.

ProMiles reported a low of $2.336 per gallon in Oklahoma , and a high of $2.889 per gallon in Idaho . Both of those prices were down from the previous day.

Meanwhile, AAA reported a national average of $2.743 per gallon Nov. 17, down less than a penny from the previous day.

The association reported a low of $2.47 per gallon in Oklahoma and a high of $3.027 per gallon in Idaho . Idaho is the only state in the lower-48 with an average price stubbornly remaining above the $3 mark, according to AAA.

At the retailer level, Flying J was still reporting low supplies in Mississippi , Georgia , Florida and Missouri Nov. 17.

Flying J reported a low price of $2.212 per gallon at a station in Mount Juliet , TN.

Love’s was reporting a low of $2.239 per gallon at its station in Wytheville , VA , and also in Waco , GA.

Petro was reporting a low price of $2.259 per gallon in Knoxville , TN , for the third day in a row. Travel Centers of America also reported a low of $2.259 per gallon in Knoxville for the second day in a row.

Pilot reported a low price of $2.239 per gallon at several locations, Tallapoosa and Temple , GA , Oak Grove , KY , and Lugoff , SC.
