Truckers rescue man from burning vehicle

Pennsylvania State Police say two truckers saved a man from his burning vehicle Friday, Nov. 11, in Lycoming County, PA.

Local CBS affiliate WNEP-TV reported that the man, Timothy Jacobs, 29, of Williamsburg, PA, was driving near Lewis Township when he hit a guardrail.

His vehicle bounced off the guardrail and into a stone wall, whereupon it flipped and rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof and bursting into flames.

Truck drivers George Jones and Steven Hower saw the wreck and stopped, pulling Jacobs from the car.

Jacobs was taken to the Williamsport Hospital. WNEP said there was no word on how badly he was hurt, though he did survive.
