ProMiles recorded a national average of $2.658 per gallon Friday, Nov. 11, down 1.7 cents from the day before.
Most states reported drops in prices, with only Rhode Island and Washington state showing slight increases.
The highest prices were found in Idaho, where diesel topped out at $2.977 per gallon. Virginia had the lowest prices, at an average of $2.405 per gallon.
AAA reported a national average of $2.833 on Friday, down 2.1 cents from the previous day. That's also down more than 40 cents from the high of $3.239 recorded on Oct. 24.
The association showed a low of $2.578 per gallon in Oklahoma, and a high of $3.133 per gallon in Idaho.
Flying J reported a low price of $2.259 per gallon at its station in Carmel Church, VA. The company also reported low supplies at several stations in Mississippi, Missouri, California and Arkansas.
Love's reported a low price of $2.229 per gallon at two locations – Oklahoma City and Skippers, VA.
Petro showed a low price of $2.319 at its Kingsland, GA, location. Pilot, meanwhile, had a low price of $2.299 per gallon at its location in Ruther Glen, VA.
And finally, Travel Centers of America reported a low price of $2.319 per gallon at several locations, including Knoxville, TN, and Richmond and Ashland, VA.
