Washington Highway Patrol troopers say they want to thank a trucker who apparently saved the lives of two people who were involved in crash on U.S. 2 north of Seattle.
Trouble is, they can't find the trucker to thank him – or her.
The patrol reported a car and pickup truck collided head-on on Thursday, Nov. 10, and the pickup caught fire with the injured driver still inside. A witness told patrolmen that a trucker stopped and used an extinguisher to put out the fire.
And somehow, both the man driving the pickup and the girl driving the car ended up side-by-side on the ground – well away from the accident scene. Neither knew how they got there.
By the time the patrol arrived at the scene, the trucker was gone. Whoever that person is, Trooper Tim Crane told “Land Line Now” that he'd like to shake their hand.
Cane says the trucker was not involved in the crash in any way – that he or she was simply a good Samaritan who they'd like to locate to express their gratitude.
