Diesel prices continued their ongoing slide down from record highs Tuesday, Nov. 8. ProMiles reported a national average of $2.711 per gallon, down 1.2 cents from the previous day.

ProMiles reported a low average of $2.42 per gallon in Oklahoma , and a high of $3.042 per gallon in Idaho .

Meanwhile, AAA reported a national average of $2.879 per gallon Nov. 8, down 2.3 cents from the previous day. The association reported a low of $2.632 per gallon in Oklahoma , and a high of $3.116 per gallon in Utah .

At the retail level, Flying J reported a low of $2.319 per gallon in several places, including Oklahoma City and Columbia , SC.

The company was also reporting low supplies at stations in Matthew , MO ; and Gulfport and Pearl , MS .

Georgia and Virginia appeared to be hot spots for low prices Tuesday, Nov. 8. Love’s reported a low of $2.319 at a station in Skippers, VA, while Travel Centers of America reported a low of $2.339 in Richmond , VA.

In Georgia , Pilot reported a low of $2.339 per gallon at a station in Brunswick , GA , while Petro reported the same price at a station in Kingsland , GA , near the Florida/Georgia border.
