More than 300 log trucks are expected to participate in the Northwest Log Truckers Co-op rally this weekend in Montesano, WA. The event will include a fuel surcharge rally to encourage truckers to contact their federal legislators.

The event is scheduled at the old Smith Tractor parking lot in Montesano. The parking lot opens at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 4, and the rally starts at 10 a.m. Co-op members, all truckers and the general public are invited to attend.

The cooperative promote the mutual welfare and interests of log truck operators throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. The co-op helps members work together with northwestern logging contractors and to educate timberland owners and logging contractors about the increasing costs log truck drivers are facing.
