The Kentucky Revenue Cabinet has set the rate of the state and uniform local property taxes on apportioned vehicles for 2004, representing payments due later this year for interstate motor carriers operating vehicles in that state.

According to Robert Pitcher’s State Laws Newsletter of April 20, the state rate is 24.03 cents per $100 assessed value of a vehicle, and the total state and local rate is 70.03 cents per $100.
