It’s go time.
The House-Senate Conference Committee is slated to begin discussing the final version of the Highway Bill on Thursday, June 9, at 3 p.m. Eastern Time.
The committee is set to discuss a variety of issues related to the Highway Bill, including mandatory fuel surcharge legislation that requires 100 percent pass-through to the person who buys the fuel. A final version of the bill is expected to be on President Bush’s desk by the end of the month.
