The 23rd annual Rotella SuperRigs Truck Beauty Contest is scheduled for June 9-11 at the 75 Chrome Shop in Wildwood, FL. Last year, more than 90 contestants from the U.S. and Canada participated in the event, which was in Grand Island, NE.

Participants compete for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes, and 12 lucky truckers will have their rigs selected to appear on the 2006 Rotella SuperRigs calendar, according to a Shell press release.

A total of 18 working trucks will receive awards for Best of Show, Tractor, Tractor/Trailer Combination and Classic categories. A panel of celebrity judges will score the rigs on exterior appearance, design, detail/finish, originality and workmanship. Judging takes about 20 minutes and contestants do not need to be present to win.

The contest is free and every entrant will receive a gift package consisting of one gallon of Shell RotellaT SAE15W-40 multigrade engine oil, one gallon of Shell Rotella ELC Extended Life Coolant/Antifreeze, a tube of Shell Retinax LC grease, a Rotella SuperRigs hat and T-shirt and more, the press release said.

The 75 Chrome Shop is off of Interstate 75 at the 329 Exit State Road 44 in Wildwood, FL.
