Stars & Stripes Show Truck Events has rolled out its calendar of Truck Beauty Competitions for 2005.

The first event of 2005 is the Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship, at the Mid-America Trucking Show, Louisville, KY, March 31-April 2. This year, in addition to the Truck Beauty Championship, Stars & Stripes will present Mid-America’s Big-Rig Build-Off, featuring six never-been-seen-before independently customized trucks. The best of this special bunch will be decided by the public

Other shows on the schedule include:

• The North American Truck Show, April 28-30, at the new Boston Convention Center
• The Truck Show, June 16-18, at the Las Vegas Convention Center – the largest indoor gathering
• TruckerFest at Hot August Nights Aug. 5-6, at the Alamo Petro, Reno/Sparks, NV.

The season will wrap up Sept. 15-16 at a new location – Bosselman Travel Center, Grand Island, NE.
