Simone Giguere of St. Hyacinthe , Quebec , was the Canadian grand-prize winner in a recent fuel sweepstakes sponsored by Cummins Inc.

The U.S. grand-prize winner has yet to be announced, according to Cummins, which held contests in both countries with an estimated $30,000 grand prize in each.

Giguere received 9,000 U.S. gallons in fuel credit to use at any Flying J in North America . That amount translates to 34,070 liters for the Canadian winner.

Cummins is also giving away 10 runner-up prizes of $500.

Giguere, according to Today’s Trucking Online, has been a Cummins customer since 1981. He currently powers his 2005 Peterbilt 379 with the ISX 565.
