The Expediter Pride Truck Beauty Show, which occurred Aug. 11-12 at the Detroiter Travel Center in Woodhaven, MI, put working expediting trucks only on center stage.

The competition, open to only Cargo Van, Straight Truck and Tractor categories, was managed and judged by NAST personnel and featured more than $10,000 in prizes

“This was our fourth annual event, and we’re very gratified by the expediting community’s response and support of their show,” said Lawrence McCord, Expo Show Manager. “The Expo featured expediting carrier recruiters, expediting truck dealers, a number of seminars about the business, the White Knight monster truck rides, the Bud Boss show truck, food, and of course, our Expediter Pride Truck Beauty Show.”

The Best of Show award went to Billie Johnson and Amy Richardson – a straight-truck team with FedEx Custom Critical. They displayed a gleaming white Western Star that helped them to win the grand prize.
